Nelson Pass, proprietor of First Watt developed this buffered preamp and released it to the DIY community. He provides the PCB, but one can do point to poit connections since the schematics are very straightforward.
I wired everything up and compared it to my Audio Note Preamp Kit (tube based) and it had more clarity and less hiss for considerably less money. I compared it after hooking it up to my Dynaco ST-70 with VTA driver board, and some solid state amps and for the price it was amazing! I'm waiting on my case to arrive, but the exposed wire look is pretty cool, and I might just keep it this way.
