The side door to our laundry room was rather worn, and the single sliding window within the door was falling apart, so I decided to replace it with a french door. At the time of purchase I didn't realize the difference between interior grade and exterior grade doors. I had inadvertently bought an interior grade door, and after prepping, staining, sealing, mounting the door did I realize this little detail. Oh well! I did some extra sealing with silicon around the glass panes and hoped for the best.
