I had a bunk bed when I was young and loved to make forts and play inside, so i decided to buy one. The only problem was that bunk beds currently available were expensive and didn't seem sturdy enough, so I decided to build my own. Granted I told myself that I would relax this year and not do a project, but this one was pretty cool! Some research on the web and some modifications produced an excellent design and inexpensive since it used regular construction dimensional lumber.
The kids love it! and as you can see if you look carefully there were some last minute design changes from Allyson (can you identify them?)
